The Journal highlights and promotes a wide range of undergraduate student research throughout campus, from law to mechanical engineering to biochemistry to psychology. It will also provide a forum of interdisciplinary discussion on topics involving the latest advancements, the most controversial debates, and the most intriguing questions in different fields based on short, original, and insightful articles about science that will be catered to a wide audience. Submissions to the journal are reviewed by our distinguished student led advisory board, with final edits approved by the esteemed Dr. Oscar Juarez.
http://urj.library.iit.edu/index.php/urj/article/view/53 Diversity and Excellence in IIT's Student Population 2024-04-28T19:45:13+00:00 Esha Raut library@iit.edu
Information about IIT's student population
2023-02-03T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Illinois Tech Undergraduate Research Journal http://urj.library.iit.edu/index.php/urj/article/view/54 Image Processing Integration into Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry to Remotely Sense Freshwater Surface 2024-04-28T19:43:58+00:00 Lan Tran library@iit.edu Seebany Datta-Barua library@iit.edu Roohollah Parvizi library@iit.edu
Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry (GNSS-R) is a technique that detects signals reflected off the surface and analyzes the reflected signals to obtain surface characteristics. This technique was used to differentiate between surface ice and water condition of Lake Michigan in Chicago. To confirm GNSS-R results validity, a separate reference is needed to compare with. A sensor fusion of camera and a lidar was used to reconstruct the lake surface. This reconstructed surface was as a reference to compare with GNSS-R results. Since the current camera frames rate being used to reconstruct the lake surface using the sensor fusion of camera and lidar is two frames per minute, this research explores the effect of increasing the camera frames rate on the reconstructed surface.
2023-02-06T16:52:20+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Illinois Tech Undergraduate Research Journal http://urj.library.iit.edu/index.php/urj/article/view/55 Social Media vs. User Age 2024-04-28T19:43:51+00:00 Ayesha Mahmood library@iit.edu
Social Media vs. User Age
2023-02-06T16:58:17+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Illinois Tech Undergraduate Research Journal http://urj.library.iit.edu/index.php/urj/article/view/56 Religious Stereotypes in TV Shows 2024-04-28T19:43:44+00:00 Ayesha Akram library@iit.edu
Religious Stereotypes in TV Shows
2023-02-06T17:08:32+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Illinois Tech Undergraduate Research Journal http://urj.library.iit.edu/index.php/urj/article/view/57 The "Art" of Medicine - Communication in Primary Care 2024-04-28T19:43:38+00:00 Adeelah Shamshuddin library@iit.edu
The "Art" of Medicine - Communication in Primary Care
2023-02-06T17:13:27+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Illinois Tech Undergraduate Research Journal
